On April 27, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 1 of Art. 30, Part 2 of Art. 205.5 ("Preparation for participation in the activities of a terrorist organization") and Part 1 of Art. 30, Art. 275 ("Preparation for high treason") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 9 years in a strict regime penal colony with the first 3 years to be served in prison and 1 year of restricted freedom. Deprived of liberty since June 3, 2023.
