Kuksov Vasily Alekseevich, born May 31, 1988, anti-fascist and animal rights activist from Penza, rock musician, design engineer.
Sentenced to 9 years in a general regime penal colony on charges of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 205.4 ("Participation in a terrorist community", liable to up to 10 years' imprisonment), Part 1 of Article 222 ("Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition", liable to up to 4 years' imprisonment) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. On April 27, 2021, the Supreme Court rejected the cassation appeal against the verdict.
In custody since October 19, 2017.
