On November 6, 2024 he was sentenced under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“High treason - rendering financial assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation” in the 2012 edition) to 13 years' imprisonment in a strict regime colony and 1 year of restricted freedom.
