Karimov Alim Egamberdievich, born April 8, 1994, resident of Simferopol, activist of the "Crimean Solidarity", was engaged in sending parcels for political prisoners. Has a child.
On January 11, 2023, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Art. 30 and Art. 278 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power") to 13 years of imprisonment, of which the first 2 years to be spent in prison, and the rest in a strict regime penal colony, with restriction of freedom for 1 year after the release. The appellate court upheld the sentence.
In custody since March 27, 2019.
