Khabirov Salavat Baiegitovich, born September 13, 1982, resident of Chelyabinsk, with secondary general education, married, has two dependent children born in 2013 and 2014, worked as a slinger in Chelyabinsk before his arrest. Convicted under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation and participation in the activities of such an organisation"), Part 1 of Article 30, Article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power") for organizing the activities of the international religious and political party "Hizb ut-Tahrir", recognised as terrorist in Russia. Salavat was sentenced to imprisonment for 17 years in a strict regime penal colony, followed by restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year and 6 months. Deprived of freedom since his arrest on October 1, 2014.
